Welcome to Bilgavia Estate

Bilgavia Estate Winery, NSW Hunter Valley.

Located in the Broke Fordwich region in the picturesque Hunter Valley, surrounded by the Brokenback Ranges is Parsons Creek Farm and home of Bilgavia Estate Wines. A family run vineyard, thoroughbred stud and working farm, Bilgavia is comprised of 19 hectares of Hunter Valley staple varieties - Shiraz, Chardonnay and Semillon. With an eye to the future, plantings of Fiano were added in 2012.

Parsons Creek Farm was initially established by Jack and Lucy Horseman in 1999. Originally three separate dairy farms, Jack and Lucy spent the following 12 years lovingly nurturing and developing the farm into one spectacular property. The name Bilgavia Estate was chosen to pay homage to one of the original properties, found to have vineyard plantings that dated back as far as 1820.

In 2015 the farm was purchased by Marc and Lindy De Stoop. Together with their four adult children, the De Stoop’s embarked on an exciting new venture to not only finish what Jack and Lucy had started, but to further grow and maximise the property’s potential through cattle, horses and of course wine! The focus for the Bilgavia Estate Wines was simple; continue to sell high-quality grapes locally to the neighbouring top winemakers, but to also reserve a carefully selected small batch of the best fruit to make and bottle under their own label
